What is a ';full set'; at a nail salon or acrylic nails?

when you order a ';full set'; what is it.


also, what are acrylic nails/how is it done?

this might be your first time.. but getting a full set is have all your nails done. how ever you want them acrylic or solar.





acrylic is the artificial [fake] nails that you see other women have. they last a couple of weeks and wont come off unless you get them professionally off. i recommend solar.. but acrylic is stl fine. its cheaper. you can pick out the style [the tips of the nails] and say '; i would like a full set please. acrylic french tip manicure'; french tip = white tips. american [french] tip is the pearl white looking ones. or say you want red glittery tips or watever color they provide. if you stil arnt sure what to say they have little model hands with diff type of acrylic nails {style] and just point and say ';i want that';. LOL they will understand.

A full set is 10 nails (one for each finger!). And acrylic nails are the type of false nails that are usually french manicure style. They are glued onto your nails. There are other types of false nails such as gel nails but it is hard to figure out what the difference is to people not used to this kinda stuff. Don't be shy and go ahead and ask the nail people at the nail salon what they would reccommend for your nails and tell them what you want and they can tell you what would be best.
a full set it when you get it done (all ur nails) this is for ppl who dont have arcrylics and are getting them for the 1st time. after this u dont go to the salon to get a full set, you go and get touch ups every few weeks. The first time is a long process of applying a mixture of a white powder and liquid to ur nails and the filing ur own nail so its thin, the shining the layer that was applied. then applying a nail polish. nail polish desnt chip off arcrylics, but they can break. oh, and theyre like fake nails, so if you have really ugly bitten nails, you can get arcrylics and theyll be long and shiny. but they need to have polish on them at all times.
that means they are going to put an artificial nail on each finger of your hands.
